Scheels is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help safeguard assets and provide a safe shopping environment. The role emphasizes proactive detection, incident documentation, and collaboration with store leadership and local authorities.

You will monitor CCTV, assist with cash handling, and support safety programs while upholding Scheels' employee-ownership culture and customer-first values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; college graduate preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• 2–3 years of loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations.
• Maintain professional relationships with local authorities and law enforcement.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other retailers to identify theft threats.
• Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers.
• Observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud.
• Maintain knowledge of CCTV surveillance; document incidents promptly.
• Support store safety, security procedures, and compliance.
