Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers and to safeguard Scheels' assets. You will deter crime, review CCTV, patrol the store, and restrict access to authorized individuals.

This role partners with corporate risk management to uphold safe practices, handle investigations, document incidents, and support loss prevention efforts. Evening, night, or weekend shifts may be required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of strong communication and organization skills.
• Preference for candidates with prior Loss prevention experience (2–3 years).
• High School Diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Asset Protection: deter theft, monitor activity, and report incidents.
• Maintain professional relations with local authorities and store leadership.
• Assist in cash handling and transfers as needed.
• Observe customers and associates for potential theft or fraud.
• Document incidents with objective, timely reports.
• Maintain CCTV knowledge and conduct on-site interviews when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on safety and loss prevention.
