Job summary

Advantage Media Services LLC is seeking a Safety and Asset Protection Coordinator to support and coordinate safety, security, and loss prevention across all AMS locations. You will monitor programs, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and coordinate corrective actions with Operations, HR, Facilities, and Quality to protect associates, inventory, equipment, and assets.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, workplace safety regulations.
• Experience with workplace safety, security, loss prevention, asset protection, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action activities.
• Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other industrial operating environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping requirements and workplace injury reporting.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training and employee awareness programs.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes.
• Familiarity with security systems, access control, surveillance, and visitor management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, security, loss prevention, and asset protection programs across AMS locations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, facility walkthroughs, security reviews, and audits to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, DOT, fire/life safety, environmental, security, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local requirements and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Investigate workplace injuries, near misses, property damage, theft, and other loss events; document findings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective action plans for safety incidents, security events, and losses.
• Provide safety training and guidance to associates and leadership on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and asset protection.
• Coordinate training, certifications, and refresher training; maintain training records.
• Support development and testing of emergency action plans, evacuation procedures, and business continuity plans.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and maintain confidentiality in sensitive safety matters.
