Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue seeks an Asset Protection Officer at our Tysons, VA location to monitor shortage results, investigations and store safety programs under the supervision of the Asset Protection Manager. You will train store associates on awareness and AP procedures, oversee daily and monthly inventory reports and audits, and coordinate annual store inventories.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of asset protection experience in a large-volume retail environment, plus jurisdictional

• 2 years Asset Protection Experience, large volume retail environment.
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for training store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness. Ad hoc responsibilities

YOU WILL BE

Under the direction from the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Officer monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implementation of store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $22.03 - $27.54 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
