Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Asset Protection Associate at our New York location to monitor shortages, investigations and store safety programs under the guidance of the Asset Protection Manager.

You will train store associates on awareness and asset protection procedures, oversee daily and monthly inventory reports, organize annual store inventories, and develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups.

Qualifications

• 2 years Asset Protection Experience in a large volume retail environment.
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required

• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits daily and monthly.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.

YOU WILL BE

Under the direction from the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implementation of store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $22.03 - $33.05 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
