Job summary

Neiman Marcus in New York is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to join our Loss Prevention team. You will work on-site in the store and report to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager to protect people, products and profits.

You will monitor for theft, conduct investigations, document incidents, and help with store operations while supporting a safe shopping environment. A background in LP/Asset Protection and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection.
• Customer-focused mindset is essential.
• Verbal and writing skills needed.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.

YOU WILL BE

As an Asset Protection Associate you will work as a member of our Loss Prevention team to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud. You will work on-site in your assigned store and report to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager. The team Makes Life Extraordinary by supporting the store efforts to maximize store sales by protecting our people, products, and profits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and help with emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all loss prevention incidents properly
• Prepare and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs
