Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention in restaurant or retail.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills with a keen eye for irregularities.
  • Completion of Wicklander-Zulawski or similar interview courses.

Job Description:

The Asset Protection Manager oversees Asset Protection across all restaurant locations, focusing on cash handling, training, POS system analysis, operational audits, policy compliance, and safety of Team Members and guests. This role supports corporate compliance by upholding company policies, procedures, and directives. Through proactive training, clear communication, and data analysis, it helps safeguard company assets. Responsibilities include investigating theft, policy violations, and management concerns.

  • Support and educate Team Members and leadership on asset protection best practices
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and Legal teams to ensure a safe work environment
  • Conduct investigations into theft, policy infractions, and management concerns with professionalism and integrity
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures

  • Analyze POS transaction trends to identify irregularities
  • Develop and implement restaurant audit plans focused on cash handling, POS transactions, and safety
  • Create and update policy documents, training materials, and communications to promote awareness and compliance
  • Communicate investigation findings effectively to leadership

  • Identify and address security risks promptly
  • Use video surveillance, data analytics, observations, and interviews to investigate suspected violations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree preferred
  • At least one certification: CFI, CFE, or LPC
  • Completion of Wicklander-Zulawski or similar interview courses
  • 5–7 years experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention in restaurant or retail
  • Strong investigative, analytical skills, and keen eye for irregularities
  • Knowledge of restaurant/retail operations, inventory controls, POS systems
  • Experience with Envysion and/or MIRUS a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with data and graphs
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, collaborative
  • Occasional travel may be required

Salary range: $87,000 – $115,000, based on experience, location, and skills.
