Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $16.2 - $23 per hour; actual pay depends on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview:

The Asset Protection Coordinator (APC) is responsible for detecting, apprehending, or deterring activities that could result in loss to Ralph Lauren. APCs ensure a safe environment for customers, associates, and vendors, and promote compliance with policies related to theft prevention, safety, and inventory control. They also conduct training and awareness programs within operational areas.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring safety of all customers and associates by promoting and ensuring operational compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  2. Conducting surveillance and apprehending external theft suspects following company guidelines.
  3. Monitoring the sales floor for potential theft activities with attention to detail.
  4. Operating and monitoring security systems, including CCTV.
  5. Assisting in internal theft investigations as directed.
  6. Monitoring access to prevent unauthorized removal of assets.
  7. Completing audits related to operations, safety, and inventory control.
  8. Maintaining relationships with law enforcement and mall security, and representing Ralph Lauren in court proceedings related to apprehensions.
  9. Preparing incident, investigation, and audit reports accurately and promptly.
  10. Assisting in inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation.
  11. Developing partnerships with store management and associates to enhance awareness and reduce shrinkage.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

  1. Several years of retail experience preferred.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent.
  3. Completion of pre-hire paperwork, including background checks.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Excel).
  6. Knowledge of CCTV systems preferred.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  8. Flexibility to work day or evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
