Fred Meyer is seeking an Asset Protection professional to prevent and reduce loss across stores. You will detect theft, report incidents, and support training on loss prevention practices.

The role requires a criminal justice background plus retail security experience and the ability to work flexible shifts. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field required.
• Retail security experience and ability to pass a drug test.
• Strong customer service orientation and discretion with confidential information.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced store environment with accuracy.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and reduce loss due to theft, shrink and liabilities.
• Detect, deter and detain external theft suspects when appropriate.
• Report incidents to the asset protection manager and maintain documentation.
• Provide training and support to associates on loss prevention processes.
• Promote company initiatives and maintain compliance with policies.
