Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a security-focused team member to support asset protection across our stores in Michigan. This role emphasizes surveillance, incident documentation, and collaboration with store leadership to ensure safety and prevent loss.

The position requires at least 6 months in security or related experience, with a High School diploma or equivalent. You will participate in investigations, testimony when required, and maintain strict adherence to company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security experience or 1 year of general work experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects exterior/parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conducts backroom and sales floor inspections.
• Reviews cashier exception reports and theft activity.
• Conducts internal theft surveillance and shoplifting surveillance.
• Documents incidents thoroughly for potential litigation.
• Testifies in court as required.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
