Job summary

Meijer is seeking an asset protection professional to safeguard customers, team members, and vendors across our Michigan stores. You will investigate theft, uphold safety standards, and help improve procedures to protect profitability.

Responsibilities include visual inspections, surveillance, report reviews, and participation in apprehensions, with emphasis on documentation and safety accountability in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months security experience or one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect exterior and parking areas to mitigate hazards.
• Conduct backroom and sales floor inspections.
• Review cashier exception and theft reports for accuracy.
• Perform surveillance of internal theft and shoplifting.
• Document incidents and assist in legal proceedings when required.
• Test and inspect camera equipment and alarm systems for proper operation.
