Job summary

Lineage is seeking a security guard to safeguard assets and personnel at our Colton, CA site. The role involves monitoring alarms and cameras, conducting inspections, verifying identification and documents, and patrolling the facility. Flexibility to work weekends is required.

The position offers a 10:00–18:30 shift, with pay ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience (DOE). Benefits include standard Lineage offerings and opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard physical security by monitoring alarms and cameras and report suspicious activity.
• Conduct inspections and maintain reports/documentation.
• Verify documents at facility entrances (DL, insurance, bills of lading).
• Manage traffic control and patrol the facility on foot.
• Perform trailer temperature checks.

Schedule

• 10AM-6:30PM Thur-Mon (Off Tue/Wed)

Pay: $20.00-22.00 DOE

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Safeguard the physical security of the premises by monitoring alarms, cameras, and other systems and report any unsafe or suspicious activity
• Conduct inspections and investigations as needed and maintain proper reports/documentation
• Monitor facility entrances and examine and verify documents, such as a driver's license, proof of insurance, and bills of lading
• Facilitate traffic control and conduct foot patrols/inspections of the facility
• Conduct trailer temperature checks

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed

Pay Range: $16.97 - $28.65
