Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience with asset/property management and record-keeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the asset property manager for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.
  • Establishes and monitors internal protective controls to safeguard all property.
  • Tracks capital and controlled assets, including tagging, recording purchases, transfers and disposal.
  • Maintains computerized records for asset location and user information.
  • Coordinates with the Mayor's Finance Office to tag and capitalize assets and maintain accountability.
  • Manages forms and asset-related processes (PM-1, PM-2, PM-3) for the Sheriff's Office.
  • Performs periodic inventories to ensure complete accountability of property.
