Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced Asset Performance Management engineer to optimize equipment maintenance and analytics-driven decision making in Energy Supply. The role focuses on improving reliability and reducing energy production costs across multiple power generation facilities.

The selected candidate will develop condition-based maintenance programs, leverage data analytics, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited school.
• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• EIT/FE strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to lead the transformation in equipment maintenance.
• Develop long-term asset maintenance strategies using technology and analytics.
• Develop and deploy CBM strategies, integrating monitoring results with financial analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
