Job summary
Xcel Energy Inc. is seeking an Asset Performance Management engineer within Energy Supply to optimize maintenance approaches across our generation assets.
The role emphasizes condition-based maintenance, data analytics, and prioritization of corrective actions to improve reliability while reducing costs. The successful candidate will operate under general direction, potentially lead small to medium projects, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain while advancing CBM
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree; Electrical engineering preferred.
- 2+ years of engineering experience; broad knowledge in the specialty area.
- EIT/FE strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate findings.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering expertise to lead the transformation in equipment maintenance across Energy Supply.
- Develop long-term asset maintenance strategies using technology and analytics.
- Deploy CBM strategies and integrate monitoring results with technical expertise.
- Lead integration of monitoring results to improve equipment practices and programs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and work order management for projects.
