Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks an Asset Performance Management engineer to optimize maintenance and reliability across power-generation facilities. You will use data analytics to drive decisions and implement a condition-based maintenance program that reduces cost and risk.

The role involves collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams. The staff through principal engineer levels share responsibility for engineering work, documentation, and mentoring while advancing fleet performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited program (electrical preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience; EIT/FE strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to lead equipment maintenance improvements.
• Develop long-term asset maintenance strategies using analytics.
• Deploy CBM strategies and integrate results with asset performance software.
• Coordinate projects and guide interns or junior engineers as needed.
