Leverage knowledge of energy production and operations including the chemical make-up of natural gas, heat content, nitrogen, oxygen and carbon and determine how the chemical make-up affects natural gas transportation in the pipeline to optimize processes and logistics. Monitor the necessary volumes and surpluses in the region and perform market analysis to identify fluctuations of costs of natural gas. Facilitate optimization of existing and new assets in the portfolio by providing expertise in pipeline optimization engineering. Work closely with the rest of the bench origination, market analytics and other teams to build-out, and execute on, the Mexico Team and South Texas gas asset strategy. Facilitate cross-border communication and relationship management with stakeholders in the South Texas and Mexico Regions. May work from home on a hybrid schedule within 50 miles of Houston, TX. 5% domestic and international travel required.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a closely related field plus four (4) years of experience utilizing the following: In-depth knowledge of and analyzing pricing mechanisms, supply and demand dynamics, and regional market behaviors in both the U.S. and Mexico.
