Job summary

National Christian Foundation in Alpharetta, GA, seeks an Asset Manager I to administer complex asset contributions including real estate, private stock, and other gifts. You will manage assets from intake to sale, coordinate related expenses, and ensure compliance with regulations and foundation policies.

You will work with internal teams and external advisors, supporting givers and relationships managers throughout the asset lifecycle in a hybrid office-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in gift services, portfolio management, real estate, financial services, or related fields.
• Experience serving high net worth individuals, families, and advisors preferred.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage new assets and set up in current system used to track the management of the asset.
• Report all new complex asset contributions with fund flow terms for ministry grants and taxes to accounting.
• Prepare receipt packages and next steps related to asset management for givers.
• Communicate to Relationship Manager the completion of the gift.
• Manage all expenses associated with each asset and ensure compliance with laws and foundation policies.
• Assist in asset liquidations and coordinate with complex asset accounting and tax teams.
• Collaborate with Due Diligence Attorneys to resolve issues and process asset sales.
• Explain complex information to givers and advisors concisely throughout the asset's life cycle.
