Job summary

Avanti Residential in Denver is seeking an Asset Manager to support the SVP of Asset Management and Capital Improvements. You will analyze asset performance, build financial models in Excel and BI tools, and collaborate with Acquisitions, Operations, and Accounting to maximize value.

Ideal candidates have a real estate or finance background, 2+ years in asset management or financial modeling, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate or finance.
• 2+ years of financial modeling and reporting experience.
• 2+ years of property/asset management software experience.
• Strong math and data analysis skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Asset Management and Operations meetings with staff to discuss key metrics and deficiencies.
• Track and communicate the status of Operations Action Plans to Asset Management and Senior Leadership when applicable.
• Collaborate with SVP and FP&A on strategic initiatives focused on operational efficiency, data analytics, technology adoption, and business process improvement across the multifamily platform.
• Develop and maintain complex and detailed financial models within Excel and Business Intelligence software.
• Support departmental recordkeeping, periodic reviews, and audits.
• Verify data points, spotting inaccuracies or errors and reporting these to the Sr. Vice President of Asset Management and Capital Improvements.
• Source, organize, and analyze asset-level reporting.
