Qualifications

• 5–15 years of affordable housing asset management experience.
• HUD/project-based Section 8 housing experience.
• Strong financial analysis and asset management skills.
• Experience overseeing third-party property management partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial and operational performance of a substantial affordable housing portfolio.
• Manage relationships with third-party property management partners or multiple operating teams.
• Review budgets, operating statements, capital expenditure and asset-level financial results.
• Identify opportunities to improve NOI, manage costs and address underperforming assets.
• Conduct property visits, engage with operating teams and understand individual assets.
• Support regulatory compliance and long-term asset planning.
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to deliver portfolio improvements.
