Job summary

HH Staffing is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee multiple construction and rehabilitation projects within a growing affordable housing portfolio in Orlando. You will coordinate budgets, timelines, vendors, and county officials; manage project documentation and bid packets; report progress to leadership and ensure compliance with housing development regulations.

This temp-to-perm role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to advance projects from planning

Qualifications

  • Experience budgeting and financial tracking for multiple projects.
  • Experience preparing bid packets and coordinating vendor procurement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite in a professional setting.
  • Ability to build relationships with contractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple construction and rehabilitation projects simultaneously.
  • Manage daily communication with contractors, vendors, county officials, and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, developing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and organize bid packets and assist with the bidding process.
  • Review project documentation, contracts, permits, and compliance requirements.
  • Present monthly project updates, budget summaries, and progress reports to executive leadership.
  • Track project expenses and assist with budget planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure projects comply with local, municipal, and housing development regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Asset Management on new development and rehabilitation initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout each project's lifecycle.

Experience
  • 4 years of relevant education and/or professional experience, or an equivalent combination of both.
  • Experience managing construction, capital improvement, rehabilitation, or asset management projects.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with ACOM software.
  • Affordable housing, multifamily, or real estate development experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
