Job summary

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Fixed Asset Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Monitor capital expenditures, asset projects, and investment activities to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Prepare account analyses, financial schedules, and reporting packages to support management decision making and forecasting.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, operations, and project teams to ensure proper asset classification and cost allocation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives related to asset management, reporting, system enhancements, and internal controls.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in fixed asset accounting, capital asset management, or a related financial accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, depreciation methodologies, and asset life cycle management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, fixed asset software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience supporting audits, account reconciliations, compliance activities, and financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within manufacturing, logistics, industrial, or other asset intensive environments.
• Knowledge of lease accounting, capital project accounting, and asset related financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate financial data and identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across multiple departments and business functions.
• Self motivated and detail oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
