Brief Job Description:

Performs highly advanced administrative, supervisory, consultative, analytical, quality assurance, compliance, project management, and program coordination work in support of Asset Management Office leadership and statewide asset management operations. Work involves assisting with program supervision, project planning and oversight, operational coordination, performance monitoring, compliance activities, reporting, risk identification, process improvement, and evaluation of program results.

Provides coordinated support for AMO activities involving asset management operations, inventory accountability, reporting, reconciliation, financial asset activities, compliance monitoring, systems coordination, policy support, training, quality assurance, and process improvement.

Works with AMO leadership to support program goals, priorities, plans, schedules, performance standards, and measures of success. Monitors projects and program activities to identify issues, risks, resource needs, and performance trends. Prepares reports, summaries, and recommendations to support management and executive decision-making.

May supervise assigned personnel and coordinate work performed across AMO functional areas. Provides direction, technical assistance, and operational support to staff and stakeholders, as assigned. Promotes coordination, consistency, and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, internal controls, and property management requirements.Serves as a liaison with agency leadership, program areas, operational staff, auditors, contractors, and other stakeholders on asset management initiatives, compliance activities, corrective action efforts, inventory-related activities, and special projects.

Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Essential Job Functions (EJFs):

Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.

Support to AMO Directors, Program Supervision, and Operational Coordination.

Supports AMO leadership in coordinating program operations, setting priorities, monitoring assigned work, communicating expectations, and addressing operational needs. Provides guidance, status information, and recommendations to support and promote consistent program performance, accountability, and compliance alignment with agency requirements. (20%)

Quality Assurance, Compliance Management, and Corrective Action Oversight

Oversees quality assurance, compliance, monitoring, and corrective action for AMO operations. Reviews program activities, identifies risks and process concerns, recommends improvements, and supports audit readiness through consistent monitoring, documentation, and follow-up. (20%)
