Soft Sages Technology is seeking an Internal Audit Director with Asset Management to lead a high-performing team in a hybrid role. You will oversee audits across the asset management spectrum, partner with senior leaders, and drive risk-based improvements across front-to-back operations.

The role reports to the Head of Audit and involves delivering data-driven insights, managing stakeholder relationships, and coaching staff to strengthen the control environment in a dynamic firm.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree; CPA or CIA preferred.
• 8+ years of internal audit experience in asset management or similarly regulated firms.
• Proven track record of building high-performing audit teams.
• Ability to lead and coach a senior audit team.
• Strong relationship, project and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities; board interaction.
• Solid Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access skills.
• Adaptable to changing regulatory environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of audit professionals across engagements.
• Plan and conduct audits spanning planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Identify key processes, risks and controls for assessment.
• Prepare audit programs and test controls.
• Communicate recommendations to remediate deficiencies.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor action plans and perform substantive tests when needed.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive risk and control improvements.
