**Job Summary**

As a Vice President in the Asset Management - Hedge Fund/Private Credit Operational Due Diligence team, you will be a 'hands-on' analyst complementing our existing Operational Due Diligence team. You will work collaboratively with the investment and risk management teams at JPMAAM, while developing independent views on underlying managers regarding operational issues and sustainability practices. You will also take part in selected projects aimed at ensuring our ODD practices and knowledge remain cutting edge and are communicated to our clients as such.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Performing and leading on-site manager visits to evaluate hedge funds' and private credit operational risks including but not limited to infrastructure, 3 rd party service providers and administrators, financial operations, legal & compliance, staffing, financing/counterparty arrangements and information technology/cybersecurity

+ Helping drive the firm's perspective on hedge fund and private credit operational risk issues and the effect of these on the underlying managers and portfolios

+ Working closely with the Research, Marketing, Risk and other internal JPMAAM groups.

+ Representing the JP Morgan to existing and prospective clients as well as other outside audiences

+ Preparing written analysis/research for internal use

+ Presenting such research at internal Investment Committee meetings and educational sessions

+ 7+ years industry experience with 3+ years' experience in an ODD role at a hedge fund/private credit investment or advisory organization

+ Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution

+ Demonstrated aptitude for and experience in external client relations, including communicating with sophisticated investors both one-on-one and in large group settings.

+ A thought leader and a "partner" at heart, natural focus is on adding value and not "checking boxes"

+ Confidence and poise to interview hedge fund/private credit managers (typically senior level non-investment staff - COO, CFO, Head of Ops, CCO) and develop and maintain strong relationships inside and outside the firm, including service providers, Prime Broker consulting teams and members of industry peer groups

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**

+ Prior experience in hedge fund/private credit administration, operations, accounting, bank hedge fund credit, or audit is desired

+ Concentration in Accounting/Finance preferred

+ MBA, CPA, JD and/or CFA a plus

+ Prior people management experience a plus
