Job summary

Eversource Energy, headquartered in Hartford, CT, seeks a Transmission and Substation Asset Manager to optimize asset performance and costs. You will drive lifecycle planning, data-driven reliability improvements, and cross-functional collaboration across the transmission function.

Responsibilities include developing operation strategies, benchmarking asset performance, and guiding capital budget input for multi-year plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in electric utility transmission/engineering.
• Knowledge of transmission/substation planning, engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial documents and data.

Responsibilities

• Develops operational strategies for utilization of asset resources across life cycles.
• Analyzes transmission and substation reliability; sets goals and reports on performance.
• Develops additional transmission system performance measures and identifies gaps.
• Maintains asset database including conditions and lifecycle planning.
• Communicates Asset Management strategy across the organization and with external parties.
• Builds collaborative relationships with other transmission functions to enable goals.
