Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Facilities Engineering Co-op located in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. The 12-month, full-time program runs January through December 2026, requiring 40 hours per week and onsite work.

You will support process improvements, maintenance and reliability initiatives under a mentor, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles while ensuring safety and ISO 14001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate freshman year completed is required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with CAD or drawings is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Onsite availability in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico for full-time co-op.

Responsibilities

• Support projects to improve process efficiency and quality.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Assist with engineering projects, design activities and implementation.
• Prepare reports, presentations and technical docs.
• Evaluate practices and perform gap assessments for compliance.
• Support maintenance, asset management and reliability programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and ISO 14001 standards.
