Vista Prairie Communities seeks a Director, Asset Management to oversee capital improvement projects across all communities, focusing on long-term preservation, optimization, and operational efficiency of real estate assets.

You will lead portfolio strategy, capital allocation and technology leadership while guiding standardization and training across multi-site operations. Regular travel to MN, IA and WI locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Building Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development or Business/Finance.
• 10+ years in facilities management, building engineering, property management, or construction PM.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and real estate development.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional, decentralized teams.
• Experience deploying asset management software across an enterprise.
• Strong financial acumen with multi-million-dollar capital budgets and negotiations.

• Oversee safety, compliance, and efficiency of all properties while managing major capital expenditures.
• Serve as primary expert for the asset management system across the organization.
• Lead portfolio strategy, capital allocation, asset management, and technology leadership.
• Provide operational consultation, standardization, and training/mentorship across teams.
