Job summary

RTD is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support data collection, analysis and reporting to guide sound business decisions that minimize lifecycle costs, maximize value and manage risk for rail assets.

This role develops asset condition assessments, interacts with asset owners and maintenance staff, and translates data into concise reports to inform maintenance and investment planning.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in asset management, data analysis, and data mining.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and evaluating business processes and data, preferably in asset management.
• 3+ years of data mining experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Asset Management/ERP systems (EAM/MRS).
• Ability to translate mathematical information into concise reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops and embeds asset management good practice to improve capability.
• Interacts with asset owners, maintenance technicians, and contractors to collect data.
• Develops criteria for verifying asset condition; monitors maintenance and change intervals.
• Authors and interprets asset-level reports and projections.
• Conducts asset condition assessments.
