Job Description:ROLE PURPOSE / POSITION SUMMARYThe Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Equipment Service Center (ESC) through the organization, tracking, movement, and maintenance of company assets. This role ensures assets, equipment, parts, and supplies are stored in a clean, safe, sanitary, and organized manner while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control activities.The Asset Management Coordinator utilizes forklifts and other material handling equipment to receive, move, stage, and ship assets and materials. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure assets are properly identified, documented, and available to support business operations while maintaining a clean-as-you-go mindset and adhering to all human and food safety requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESHuman and Food SafetyPrioritize human and food safety at all times.Follow all company food safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP requirements.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Demonstrate a clean-as-you-go approach throughout the workday.Utilize proper PPE and safely operate equipment and tools.Asset Storage and OrganizationMaintain asset storage areas in a sanitary, organized, and efficient manner.Follow and execute equipment sanitation and allergen processes to ensure equipment is stored and maintained to a food-safe standard.Ensure equipment, parts, and supplies are properly labeled and stored.Assist with asset identification, tagging, and tracking activities.Support periodic audits to verify asset location and condition.Organize inventory locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.Asset Movement and Material HandlingOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.Load, unload, stage, and transport equipment, parts, and materials.Coordinate asset transfers between locations and departments.Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing assets.Work with freight and trucking companies to obtain quotes, schedule, and coordinate shipments.Ensure proper handling practices are followed to prevent damage.Inventory Control and DocumentationMaintain accurate inventory and asset records.Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.Enter inventory and asset information into company software and tracking systems.Identify inventory discrepancies and communicate concerns promptly.Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and asset control.Administrative SupportUtilize Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and other company systems to communicate and maintain records.Respond to requests for asset status, availability, and location information.Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems.Communicate effectively with site leadership, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve asset organization, inventory accuracy, and workplace efficiency.Support standardization and process improvement initiatives.Assist with special projects and department initiatives as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITY PROFILEMinimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Technical, warehouse, inventory, or maintenance-related training preferred.Minimum Experience1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, asset management, maintenance support, or a related environment preferred.1-3 years of experience operating forklifts required.Manufacturing or food production environment experience preferred.Minimum Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesAbility to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel.Ability to accurately maintain records and inventory documentation.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to work effectively with employees across departments and locations.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the workday.Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching above shoulder level.Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment.Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.Ability to climb ladders, step stools, and access elevated storage areas as needed.Frequent use of hands and fingers for operating computers, scanners, tablets, tools, and inventory tracking equipment.Ability to visually inspect equipment, labels, asset tags, inventory locations, and documentation while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance shop, and storage environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and traffic from mobile equipment.Ability to work around moving machinery, forklifts, and production equipment while following all safety requirements.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and other equipment as required.Ability to move throughout the facility and outdoor areas to locate, verify, transport, and audit company assets.Ability to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment through continuous housekeeping activities and adherence to a \"clean as you go\" philosophy.Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with inventory management, shipping and receiving, asset tracking, and data entry.Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed to meet business demands.Working ConditionsRegular exposure to warehouse, maintenance, and manufacturing environments.Frequent interaction with maintenance, engineering, operations, and supply chain personnel.Use of computers and mobile devices for inventory management, asset tracking, communication, and reporting.Exposure to moderate noise levels and forklift traffic.May require travel between storage locations, facilities, or site locations to support
