Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Senior for our Denver office to lead asset management audits in a hybrid role. You will drive engagement efficiency, establish audit approaches, and supervise staff across engagements while expanding technical knowledge through complex client transactions.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in public accounting, asset management audit experience, and CPA-eligible status. Bachelor's in accounting is required; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in public accounting with asset management audits preferred.
• CPA eligible or working toward CPA license is required or encouraged.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks.
• Develop audit approach for engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee staff during engagements.
• Review complex client transactions and financial statements.
• Coordinate closing communications and draft client correspondence.
