Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Partner to lead its rapidly growing alternative investment practice. The role focuses on overseeing a team serving hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and other fund clients with comprehensive assurance, tax, and advisory support.

The candidate will drive strategy, collaboration, and business development, while mentoring staff and delivering exceptional client service. Denver, CO and other listed locations are priority markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification and active license.
• Minimum of 12 years in fund-related audit experience.
• Asset Management audit background with advancement track.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of audit professionals serving investment funds.
• Execute the Asset Management audit vision and strategy.
• Collaborate across service lines and markets to drive growth.
• Ensure high-quality client service and engagement delivery.
• Develop professionals and build a strong talent pipeline.
