Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking auditors for the Asset Management and Private Equity Funds practice. You will contribute to audits of private equity funds, funds of funds, and alternative investment vehicles from planning through reporting.

The role emphasizes knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SEC/PCAOB, and internal controls, with supervision ofAudit Associates and collaboration with engagement teams across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required.
• Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred.
• CPA (preferred) or actively pursuing CPA licensing, required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements for asset managers and funds.
• Document and test internal controls and GAAP disclosures.
• Communicate with clients and audit committee, and coordinate with seniors.
• Supervise Audit Associates and review their work.
