Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Audit professional to join the Asset Management and Private Equity Funds practice. You will contribute to audits of private equity funds, venture capital funds, fund of funds, SBICs, BDCS, and real estate funds, applying strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge and coordinating engagement teams.

The role requires 2+ years in asset-management auditing, supervisory experience a plus, and CPA pursuit is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Master's degree in Accountancy is preferred.
• Two+ years of auditing asset managers/offshore/onshore fund vehicles required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit plan coordination and execution within budget and timelines.
• Apply GAAP/GAAS knowledge to engagements and communicate findings.
• Review work, coach staff, and ensure quality in financial statement disclosures.
