Job summary

Koch Real Estate Investments (KREI) is seeking an Asset Management Associate to help advance the build-out of our Asset Management platform across a diverse real estate portfolio. You will contribute to portfolio-wide processes, data infrastructure, performance reporting, and business planning that support investment decisions.

You will be deeply involved in portfolio analytics, operational improvements, and strategic asset management projects, while also supporting deal-level asset management

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking or financial sector.
• Experience using Excel for financial analysis and modeling.
• Experience aligning multiple teams to support business decisions.
• Experience with asset management, portfolio reporting or investment processes.
• Experience working with structured data, reports, or financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Asset Management to build and scale KREI’s Asset Management platform, including portfolio reporting, business planning, analytics, and data/technology infrastructure.
• Support portfolio-level performance monitoring across a diverse real estate investment portfolio, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with investment teams on deal-specific asset management activities, including performance analysis and refinancing initiatives.
• Assist with financial modeling and analytical initiatives, including cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial statements, operating reports, rent rolls, and market data to assess asset/portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with Asset, Credit, Finance, and Property Management teams to track results and support objectives.
• Assist in portfolio-level processes such as budgeting and performance reporting.
• Develop and maintain standardized templates, reporting tools, and data processes for consistency and scalability.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting materials and dashboards for internal leadership.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform asset strategy.
