Job description

One of the world's largest real estate investment management firms is looking to add to its asset management team in its LA office.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with asset management duties, including modeling, portfolio analysis and reporting, property valuation and performance analysis, lease analysis and special projects with a primary focus on the Housing sector.
2. Review annual operating budgets and assist in annual business plan preparation and presentation.
3. Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the properties and portfolios.
4. Assist with preparation and review of portfolio level and client reports.
5. Analyze leasing, occupancy, and renovation trends.
6. Participate in regular operations, leasing and market discussions with property teams and industry professionals.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years’ experience, preferably in real estate finance or accounting.
2. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team that includes the disciplines of asset management, finance, research, acquisitions, and marketing.
3. Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling – proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
