Our client, a prominent private equity firm investing in real estate, seeks an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join the Acquisition/Asset Management team in Washington, DC. This role offers end-to-end deal exposure, including due diligence, modeling, and investor communications.

You will develop detailed financial analyses in Excel and ARGUS, review performance, prepare investment materials for committees, and coordinate transaction closing with senior management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Valuations/Asset Management/Investment Banking or Private Equity/Real Estate experience
• 1+ years Real Estate related experience mandatory
• Top Academic pedigree
• Advanced technical skills; strong quantitative and qualitative skills
• ARGUS Modeling experience required
• Superior written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunities
• Create detailed financial analyses utilizing Excel and ARGUS to evaluate investments
• Review of company financials performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed models
• Prepare investment Committee Research presentation materials
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing with Senior Management/Board of Directors
• Prepare investor communications, including financial forecasts, reporting and estimates
• Support potential acquisition recommendations through statistical analysis
• Work with Compliance, Legal and Marketing Teams
• Oversee back-testing of investments analytical framework and cash-flow forecasts

Our client is a large/well-known Private Equity Firm that invest primarily in Real Estate and Real Estate related investments, currently seeking to add a highly motivated Analyst/Senior Analyst to their growing Acquisition/Asset Management Team. This opportunity is very well suited for a young star who has passion for Real Estate Investing and is looking for end to end deal exposure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting real estate investments/acquisitions team (must possess superior modeling and written and verbal communication skills). This team will touch all Asset Classes (Real Estate) and encompass the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunities
• Create detailed financial analyses utilizing both Microsoft Excel and ARGUS to evaluate prospective and existing investments
• Review of company financials performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed models.
• Prepare investment Committee Research presentation materials
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing process with Senior Management/Board of Directors
• Prepare investor communications, including but not limited to financial forecasts, reporting and financial estimates
• Support potential acquisition recommendations through statistical analysis
