Job summary

Siemens AMS Accounting internship in Raleigh, NC offers hands-on experience supporting accounting operations within a fast-growing software business. You will gain exposure to purchase-to-pay, reconciliations, monthly close, and reporting while contributing to process improvements using Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, and Excel.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically curious, collaborative, and eager to learn in a dynamic software environment. Raleigh-office collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a rising senior in a four-year institution.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint familiarity preferred.
• Interest in Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, or similar analytics tools.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with data and financial information.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; Raleigh office work required.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable, expense recognition, accruals, and revenue-related analysis.
• Assist with data cleansing, validation, and financial data integrity.
• Develop and enhance reporting using Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, and Excel.
• Document workflows and support process improvements in finance operations.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Shared Services and business stakeholders to understand data flows.
