Job summary
ONE X in Midland, Texas seeks an Asset Engineer / Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle, reliability, utilization and performance of company-owned assets. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Finance and regional leadership to maintain optimal asset deployment and replacement strategies for safe, efficient field operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years in asset management, equipment reliability, or oilfield operations.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and oilfield service operations.
- Experience with asset tracking, maintenance costs, and equipment performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage asset lifecycle from acquisition to retirement.
- Monitor asset condition, utilization, downtime, and maintenance history.
- Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for critical equipment.
- Support capital planning and cost management for equipment.
- Develop asset utilization and availability reporting for leadership.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to optimize asset performance.
