Job summary

A leading company in the Retail industry is seeking a Digital Asset Librarian. The role involves managing and enriching Creative Assets in the Digital Asset Management system, ensuring all relevant metadata and usage rights are accurately documented. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise-level DAM systems and a strong background in asset management. Excellent communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in library science are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with enterprise-level DAM systems.
• 2+ years as a digital asset librarian supporting creative asset production.
• Studio experience in on-set and/or post-production.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for data entry to enrich Creative Assets in AEM.
• Ensure Creative Assets have relevant usage rights and metadata.

Job description

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working with enterprise-level DAM systems (AEM preferred)
• 2+ years' experience as a digital asset librarian or digital technician supporting creative asset production in large enterprise organizations
• 1+ year supporting the development and maintenance of metadata schemas in coordination with product managers, information architects, and data stakeholders
• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Bridge, Photoshop)
• Familiarity with legal, operations, communications, and technology requirements for Creative assets' digital rights management
• Knowledge of Digital Rights Management to enforce legal terms and requirements
• Experience with MS Office 365, Workfront, JIRA, Confluence, and Airtable

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise in front-end data administration and advanced asset management techniques
• Experience partnering with Producers, Creative teams, and Project managers
• Experience eliciting and documenting technical requirements
• Studio experience working on-set and/or in post-production

You will be the primary point of contact responsible for receiving and entering data from varied sources to enrich Creative Assets in the Digital Asset Management system, AEM. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Creative Assets are promptly enriched with all relevant usage rights, embargo dates, project details, product information, and other key metadata.
