• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management.

• Strong US GAAP literacy with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own long-lived asset accounting end-to-end, including depreciation, additions, disposals, and roll-forwards.
• Advise on capitalize-versus-expense treatment and monitor policy compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff as asset base scales.
• Monitor government grants funding for capital projects and ensure compliance.
• Oversee software capitalization aligned with ASC 350.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for long-lived assets and prepare related disclosures.
• Review reconciliations and resolve variances; drive process improvements.
• Support SOX readiness and external audit requests related to assets.
