Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the long‑lived assets function, covering property, plant and equipment, leases, and intangibles. This role will own the subledgers, depreciation, and monthly roll‑forwards while aligning with ASC guidance and US GAAP.

You will build and mentor a team, supervise the asset close, and collaborate with FP&A, Procurement, Facilities and Tax on capital planning and asset tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fixed assets and CIP is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management.
• Working knowledge of ASC 360, ASC 842, and ASC 350; strong US GAAP and ERP skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for long‑lived assets end to end: PPE, leases, intangibles; manage depreciation, amortization, additions, disposals and roll‑forwards.
• Serve as primary liaison on capitalization policy and capex reviews across programs, engineering and operations.
• Lead, mentor and develop a growing accounting team focused on asset accounting.
• Monitor government grants funding for capital projects and ensure compliance and timely disbursement.
• Oversee capitalization of software assets and alignment with ASC guidance.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close for long‑lived asset accounts with journal entries and accruals.
• Own asset disclosures and footnotes; maintain reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Drive systems/process improvements; support SOX readiness and internal controls.
• Support external audits with PBC schedules and memos; partner with FP&A, Procurement, Facilities and Tax.
