Job summary

MSI Express, INC. is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to support the Equipment Service Center by organizing, tracking, and moving assets, including equipment, parts, and supplies.

You will maintain accurate records, support inventory control, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, loading and shipping assets, coordinating transfers, and conducting cycle counts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, asset management, or related environment.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing or food production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport equipment, parts, and materials.
• Coordinate asset transfers between locations and departments.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspection and documentation of assets.
• Work with freight and trucking companies to obtain quotes, schedule, and coordinate shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Enter inventory and asset information into company software and tracking systems.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and asset control.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and other company systems to communicate and maintain records.
• Respond to requests for asset status, availability, and location information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems.
• Communicate effectively with site leadership, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset organization, inventory accuracy, and workplace efficiency.
• Assist with special projects and department initiatives as assigned.
