Job summary

Tavistock Development Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee improvement and upkeep of operating assets in Orlando, FL. You will coordinate property enhancements, manage third-party teams, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings strong PM experience in construction and asset management, with ability to read drawings, manage budgets, and communicate with owners and tenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years PM experience in construction or asset management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with cross-team collaboration.
• Knowledge of green building practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee improvement of multi-family, hotel, and commercial properties.
• Oversee hotel renovations and tenant improvements at different times.
• Collaborate with third-party property management companies for upkeep.
• Develop and implement project plans for upgrades, renovations, maintenance.
• Prepare and manage budgets for projects to balance cost and quality.
• Select, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for timely service.
• Conduct inspections to ensure standards and compliance.
• Present regular reports on condition, progress, and financials to leadership.
• Maintain communication with owners, management, tenants, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings at various design stages and ensure accuracy.
• Review closeout docs for completeness and format.
• Understand critical path and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Provide field direction to contractors and teams during projects.
• Enforce standards and documentation procedures.
• Investigate design vs construction issues with team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
