The role

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages is preferred.

Daily tasks :

1. Collaborate in development, testing, and support activities.
2. Oversee product development and integrate SCADA data with business applications.
3. Design algorithms and flowcharts with developers.
4. Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
5. Integrate software components and third-party programs.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
7. Gather and evaluate user feedback.
8. Recommend and implement improvements.
9. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

What it takes to be successful in this role :

1. Background in software projects: development, configuration, testing, and database administration.
2. Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks: JAVA, Python, HTML, Javascript, React, Angular, WebServices (SOAP, API Rest), Spring framework, JPA.
3. OPC communication in industrial environments.
4. Port/terminal experience or understanding.
5. Experience with SCADA systems, Ignition.
6. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Azure.
7. Fluency in English and Spanish.
8. Interest in modern system architectures like event-based architecture, domain-driven design, microservices, etc.
