Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking an entry‑level Associate to help ensure TFS data accuracy in real time. You will coordinate with field teams, gather and enter data, and apply basic data analysis to verify transmission assets information in IPS and DSTrack.

With limited supervision, you will review prints, manage asset attributes, support reporting via PowerBI, and assist with the asset lifecycle. Requires a high school diploma plus 2 years data/record management or an Associate's

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of data/record management experience; or an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Visio and Outlook and data entry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical demand level is Sedentary. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• With instruction and limited supervision, perform entry-level data and records tasks across the asset management cycle.
• Review prints and documents to identify information for asset commissioning and updates.
• Support creation and maintenance of asset attributes in IPS based on technical drawings and project scopes.
• Assist in coordinating reporting and monitoring with field teams using PowerBI and other tools.
• Support quality assurance of data in IPS and related systems.
