Flagstar Bank is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager I to manage a portfolio of asset-based credit facilities in New York, focusing on credit reviews, collateral validation, and covenant management. Qualifications

• 4+ years in Asset Based Lending
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics

Responsibilities

• Process quarterly and annual credit reviews for senior management and 2LOD.
• Process modification approvals for waivers, amendments, renewals and extensions.
• Validate borrowing base availability and collateral.
• Approve funding requests and Stucky.
• Spread financial information.
• Engage field examiner and appraisers; provide guidance to scope of exam, review reports.
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to make ABL credit decisions and recommendations.
• May be responsible for talent management functions including staff development/training of Credit Analysts.
• Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance trainings.
• Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
