Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Merrifield, VA Hybrid is seeking an ABA Testing Analyst to plan, scope, and execute testing of IT and Information Security controls within an Agile environment. You will develop test strategies, perform control walk-throughs, document work to IIA standards, and present findings to leadership; collaborate with partners and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work or military experience.
• Experience in control testing across the lines of defense, such as Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), or First Line areas, alongside experience in audit and information security risk assessments.
• Strong word processing and spreadsheet software skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CRISC or other recognized Information Security credentials are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope Asset Based Assessments, including the development of communications, risk and control matrices, and scope documents.
• Perform walk-throughs with business partners to identify actual versus expected controls.
• Create comprehensive test strategies to evaluate actual controls.
• Document all performed work to meet the IIA reperformance standard.
• Document identified issues and prepare final assessment reports.
• Present assessment results and findings clearly to leadership.
• Adhere to organization policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
