Job summary

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is seeking an Associate II for Assessment and Recruitment on the 1001 team, working remotely from a residence in the United States and based in Louisville, KY. The role leads leadership assessments and collaborates with mid councils, seminaries, and partner organizations to empower new worshiping communities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with Canva, Jotform, and Basecamp or similar PM tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute 1001 Leadership Assessments in partnership with mid councils and seminaries.
• Educate mid councils on the qualities and competencies for new worshiping community leadership.
• Create vocational discernment opportunities and introductions to 1001NWCs with partners.
• Facilitate consultation and coaching with prospective NWC leaders in discernment of their call.
• Develop and update resources for starting and sustaining new worshiping communities.
• Interpret the vision of 1001 NWCs and PL&W to councils, congregations, and groups.
• Participate in regular evaluation of the 1001 NWCs program.
