Job summary

Brentwood Springs in Newburgh, IN, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Assessment Specialist RN to join our team and contribute to clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

You will perform patient assessments, support treatment planning, and collaborate with external review organizations while working a 7p–7a, 3‑shift schedule. This role emphasizes high-quality care for psychiatric and geriatric patients and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare facilities, with direct experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing. Additional requirements include:

• Reports to: Assessment Manager/Supervisor FLSA- None Exempt
• Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
